The Pasport Force Platform from Pasco is a relatively inexpensive force platform however the data analytics and visualisation in the standard software is limited for performance analysis. This is fair enough because Pasco produces these great little platforms primarily for teaching in schools and not sports science, strength and conditioning or human performance assessment.
The data from the platforms is accurate and very reliable so we have added the functionality of the Ballistic Measurement System (BMS) software:
- open and load data files exported from the Pasport force platform software by either SPARKvue Software or PASCO Capstone Software
- visualise force, velocity, displacement, acceleration and power
- calculate all BMS parameters including symmetry analysis
- compare multiple trials
- perform force-velocity curve analysis
In fact, the full functionality of the BMS software is now open to the Pasport Force Platform from Pasco.
